EVENT DESCRIPTION:

How does a career that begins photographing little league baseball grow into shooting six Sports Illustrated covers?

Go inside a portrait session with five-time Portrait Photographer of the Year Alexis Cuarezma and see what is essential to create images with impact & emotion. Alexis has been commissioned to create portraits of some of the most distinguished athletes like LeBron James, Chris Paul, Floyd Mayweather, and Manny Pacquiao.

In this seminar, you will learn how to quickly connect with your subject to have a harmonious relationship during the shoot.

Furthermore, Alexis will go over lighting setups, theories & concepts to help you recognize & create images with impact. He will show you results of an entire 30-second photo shoot with a world-class athlete. He will discuss how he simultaneously executed two separate lighting setups during an assignment for Sports Illustrated to give the editors what they wanted while still creating images for himself.

From this lecture, you'll walk away learning Alexis' approach to creating/lighting images with impact, connecting with your subject, and how Alexis plans and executes a photo shoot to make his vision a reality.
