EVENT DESCRIPTION:

San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world to photograph. It’s even more spectacular from the sky!

If you’ve ever wanted to photograph the city from a helicopter with an experienced aerial photographer next to you, this is the workshop for you!

Imagine flying through and under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, and hovering over the city skyscrapers. With the completion of the SalesForce building, you’ll be able to capture the newest San Francisco skyline photos.

Photojournalist and Live Learning instructor Dave Henry has hundreds of hours in a helicopter over the last 30 years, photographing a wide variety of subjects from landscape and architectural to commercial and legal photography.

Prior to the flight, Dave will go over equipment, exposure and camera handling techniques.

The helicopter doors will be removed so you will have a clear view of the city.

Dave will be in touch with you the day before the workshop with specifics and the flight time (which is dependent on weather).

Obviously, seats are very limited -- don’t miss out on this unique, possibly once-in-a-lifetime, experience!

What you will learn:

• Aerial photography best practices advice for maximum sharpness

• Menu selections

• Exposure options

• Lens selections based on altitude and existing light
